One of our clients wanted to process carrots during summer season but did not want to lock up his funds in building the needed infrastructure due to seasonal nature of operations and sub-optimal utilization.
Solution
Milo FAIS provided its facility which can be retrofitted for carrot processing at the start of summer season. We provided ready access to all the needed utilities along with on-site wastewater treatment. Our on-site temperature-controlled storage enable client to effectively manage its supply chain by storing excess produce and building buffer stock.
Result
Client realized significant gains not only through saving in the capex but was also able to optimize the operational cost by leveraging on our shared infrastructure and services. Client paid only for the services he used during the season without incurring any overheads during the off-season.
